Remember when 3D video was unimaginable?

I sort of do, I have imprecise fuzzy memories of inexpensive horror films attempting to push SuchandSuchgetsMaimedandMurdered 3D!!!!!! every now and again during the late eighties and early nineties.  Of course, I had no possibility of seeing them at such a tender age, and that AMAZING 3D!  Didn’t carry over to VHS, regardless of whether they came packed with those fragile paper glasses-you were not seeing **.  Lately Hollywood has been attempting to bring back 3D in the theater, I guess they are realizing that IMAX isn’t that wonderful as they try to market it.  Unless you like vertigo, everyone has their affectations.  I will admit the only thing I saw in theaters with the legendary 3D aspect was  ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas 1 or 2 years gone, and the only remotely 3D part was the pumpkin at the start making an attempt to psych you up for the excellent 3D!  That was going to slam into your eye sockets.  Obviously I didn’t expect much after that.
